I received some FABULOUS cabs from Tara of combustionglassworks and spent my off hours creating rings.

Here are a couple of my favorite ones

I love these fused cabs and will be listing several more in the next day or so. Yummy!

I also had time to make some really lovely bracelets that I’ll be listing over the next few days too. More pics to follow tomorrow.

1. I’m a geek. But if you know me, you already know that. SciFi channel rules and Ben Browder is HOT!

2. I know the meaning of hork and blow. However, revealing my own hork and blow history would require mass quantities of alcohol.

3. I’d choose a beach vacation over any other.

4. I’m a lousy cook. Thank goodness for an Emeril like spouse and home delivery. Now, if SOMEONE could just develop grocery home delivery in my area…..

5. I’ve not had a speeding ticket this year (YET!) Not quite sure how that happened. Maybe I am maturing? Yep, that must be it.

It’s been an off week for me. Not feeling particularly creative, and, well, just cranky, really. 

For inspiration, I dialed up some iTunes downloads.  A good beat is a good thing…as jail bird Martha might say. How can you not be in a better mood and ‘feel it’ after listening to C’mon C’mon by the Von Bondies? Lady by Lenny?  Or Martini Time by the Reverend Horton Heat?

Off to work on a commission. Happy Sunday afternoon to you….and me too.

4 am, I awake to water running and singing. Coming from my bathroom. My SO is sound asleep, so this can’t be good.

I stumble into the bathroom to find my son standing in the sink with the water running on his feet. His fully feeted pajama’d feet. He’s busy applying gel deodorant to his hair, face and tummy. I see he’s also made a quick trip to the refrigerator for a bottled soda. “Good morning Mommy, its a beautiful day. Do you need a soda?”

Good morning indeed.
