One of the teams I belong, the Artisan Beaders Street Team from etsy is hosting a weekly handmade jewelry giveaway from now through the holiday season. I am on the Giveaway Committee for the etsymom giveaway that is taking place right now! It would have been great to have this list at the beginning.
My other team, EtsyBloggers, are incredible about getting the word out for special sales and promotions. Many of the team members utilize these sources.
I also utilize the old standby–word of mouth. I have stopped pregnant women in shops to tell them about giveaways…

If you have Squidoo lenses for your shops you should update those to advertise your sales too.
