Brenda says ” I find inspiration in all kinds of ways…a certain color might catch my eye or whatever the season is or maybe it’s just how the day is going. I like to create different styles using an array of materials, such as, gemstones, crystals, sterling silver, antique copper. I like to experiment with colors, lengths, and styles too.When you open a jewelry box, you find an assortment of gems, jewels, and special keepsakes. That’s what you will find in my shop…a jewelry box filled with gems and jewels inviting you in to take them home and cherish them forever. ”You can find many more in her shop.

Artfire has announced a seller’s dream… the ability to customize their very own selling space on the venue. And, according to their latest blog post, the first iteration should roll out this week.
What does that mean for sellers? They will be able to choose colors as well as utilize html, select a design template and organize the order of their studio categories.
I like Artfire. It’s a relatively new site, so the traffic numbers are still small, but growing. The site owners have really ramped up seller functionality in a very short time. There have been a couple communications/announcements missteps, but overall, the team is working very hard to make it’s seller base happy. If you haven’t checked them out, definitely keep the site as an addition to your repetoire in your to do list.

I spent most of the weekend fondling some really, really gorgeous gemstones that arrived at my humble abode. I was torn whether to create some fabulous wired shrine or to try something very simple. In the end, I decided that if I was going to wear these, and I really wanted to be able to wear them at work, simplicity would have to be the path I pursued.
