If you find yourself on twitter a lot, you’ve probably discovered that the volume people you can befriend multiples nearly exponentially per day. Thank goodness for Twitter lists… they are my new friend!
Additionally, I’ve found two online free tools for twitter that I’d like to share with everyone.
The first is called Friend or Follow. Who are you following that’s not following you back? Who’s following you that you aren’t following back? Find out using the Friend or Follow tool. It is super easy to use and pretty fast, even if you have a lot of twitter friends. My only complaint? I wish there was a link for following or unfollowing all at once when your results were presented. But, otherwise, this is a big thumbs up from me.
The second free twitter tool is called Tweet Stats. Also super easy to use, and in addition to providing you will nearly ALL the metrics you could want about your tweeting habits, it also provides some cool little functionality around detailing your tweet and hash clouds. Cool, huh?

I simply cannot live without these two Twitter tools:
* Untweeps.com – automagically unfollows people who haven’t tweeted in more than 30 days, letting you clean up your counts
* Hootsuite.com – let’s you manage multiple twitter accounts from one screen, lets you set up searches/lists that always show on your “dashboard”, has a built in URL shortener/tracker thingy – totally awesome tool
