In today’s daily thread on the Starving Artists forum, the question asked was “What are your life strategies for dealing with the daily battle?” I thought it was an interesting question, so decided to post my rules to live by. I have a fairly short list, but try to abide by the 5 things below.
1. Take each day at a time. Worrying about what the future will bring is an exercise in futility.
2. I can’t change anyone but myself, so I don’t even try.
3. No one but me can make myself happy, including the Hubs. I decide the happiness quotient for the day.
4. With the exception of my spouse and my kiddo, I’ve decided (and implemented!) that I don’t give a damn what other people think of me. I swear it’s like winning the less stress and less guilt lottery.
5. No matter how bad I think I have it, there are MILLIONS of others much worse off than I am, so I need to just shut up and get on with it. I am much much luckier than I deserve, so enjoy it.

Artfire is testing its new ‘Collections’ functionality. Artfire Studio owners will have the ability to curate groups of items from different Artfire Studios to display trends, themes, colors or other groupings of the Seller’s choice.
I’ve been playing around a bit this week and created several Collections of some truly gorgeous Artfire creations. As of today, the Collections tool is only available for testing to the Artfire Maven group. But, Artfire hopes to roll it out to everyone very soon.
