I’m Kristy, also known as hey Mommy. I live and work in sunny Kansas.
I’m kinda geeky, a bit off center and just a wee bit sarcastic. I love sci-fi, good morning hugs from the resident child, sushi, British comedy, big dogs, sleeping in past 9 and try to avoid stepping on legos at all costs. Sometimes not very successfully.
I also like color… lots & lots of color. The brighter and circus like, the better. In between wrangling the kidlet, I like to melt silver and try not to set my work bench on fire with my trusty torch.
In my spare time, (HA!), you’ll find me in my basement work shop fondling gemstones and creating colorful, fun jewelry. This blog will most likely be an eclectic work in progress. More than likely sharing shiny sparkly things I’ve made, but also just as likely a diatribe about the human condition or a sonnet dedicated to my love of Torchwood.
