It’s been an incredible several of weeks on etsy. I’ve opened a new shop, and have been re-learning the ropes. A lot has changed over the past several months, and its taken a bit of re-learning to get back up to speed.

One big change? Holy cow the treasury love! Items from my new shop have been included in 88 treasuries so far. I think that’s more than I was EVER included in my past shop. And I know I have said it before, but I am going to say it again: THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all the makers that have included me in their fabulous collections of handmade, vintage and supplies. I’ve been a little overwhelmed, to say the least, but in a good way.

I thought I’d share some of the most recent ones. Just gorgeous. Seriously.

A girl can’t have too many hoop earrings. That’s my theory, anyway, and I’m gonna stick with it. Making hoops is fun too. Given a choice at my bench, I tend to prefer making hoop earrings versus any other kind of earring. Generally, I like jewelry with cleaner lines and a punch of color. The color part can be a bit difficult when one is talking about silver hoops.

I’ve solved this little dilemma by adding genuine gemstone beads to some of my hoops; therefore keeping the clean lines I love, but also satisfying my need for a bit of color. Over time, I’ve paired the sterling silver with rose quartz, ametrine, crystal quartz, labradorite, garnet, apatite, citrine, etc.

I’ve been adding a few new pieces of handmade jewelry to the shop this week. I’m on a quest to have at least 100 pieces listed prior to the holiday shopping season. We’ll see if that goal gets met or not.

In addition to spending a bit of time at the bench, I’ve also been spending a considerable amount of time revamping my jewelry item descriptions and titles, in hopes that they will make a bigger SEO statement. Time will tell on that exercise as well. I should probably write a whole separate post about what I’ve changed and edited in that regard. Stay tuned.

I was in the mood for some seriously long earrings, and these two pair fit that bill nicely.
